2024 – More info added constantly!!
We are working hard to plan a wonderful evening at the farm. We will continue to update this space as we can.
Mark you calendars for August 17th, 2024 for a special night of food and community at Soule Homestead. This is our biggest fundraising event for the farm with wonderful food, an open bar, and money going to your favorite local agri-educational farm. It’s always a wonderful evening.
We invite you to join us for an evening that highlights locally grown and raised produce and proteins from farms across Southeastern Massachusetts. The night starts at 4pm and is a celebration of food, community, and to support the preservation of Soule Homestead. Featuring food from Stephanie McArdell of Wilde Flour, this year’s dinner is not an experience you want to miss at the farm. We have delicious food from start to finish and a wonderful open bar featuring local beer from Harper Lane, Brewery 44 & Brockton Beer.
Our appetizers feature cheese from local cheesemonger, Say Cheese! With beets in the beet hummus from Lolans Farm, and veggies for the crudité from Freedom Food Farm. We’ve got corn from the wonderful Lipinski’s Farm in several dishes. Croutons topping the corn bisque are made from the delicious focaccia from The Italian Gem. Many of our dishes have vegetables from Langwater Farm and salad from Freedom Food Farm.
For mains, our pork come from The Old Earth Orchard. Our green beans featured in the succotash are grown by our own Teedlebug Farm and we got freshly picked basil from our farmer at Plato’s Harvest. We are delighted to feature pasta donated by Auntie Dalie’s Artisan Dried Pasta featuring mushrooms from McGuire’s Mushrooms.
The dessert features peaches from Soule Homestead, blueberries from The Blueberry Farm, with honey from Soule beekeeper Kevin from Kevin’s Honey Farm. The crust for the cobbler will be made with cornmeal donated by Plimoth Patuxet’s Grist Mill.
Decorating our tables will be beautiful flowers from local flower farm Crooked Barn Farm.
We plan to have another silent auction at the event this year, so get ready to get a little competitive with your fellow lovely dinner guests. We’ve had product donations from Plymouth Bay Winery, Hippie Pilgrim, and more.
Music will be provided by local artist, Kim Moberg.
Tickets: Tickets include several courses, live music, an open bar featuring local breweries, and wineries. All which promise to be fantastic from start to finish.
