We are looking forward to another summer of fun on the farm! Online registration opens March 1st at 10am for Soule Homestead members and March 15th at 10am for non-members. Spaces are limited and fill quickly. If you have any questions about camp programs, financial assistance options, or to be added to our camp wait list, please contact at: educator@soulehomestead.org.
Each weekly program will have all the traditional Soule activities your kiddos love with the added bonus of a unified theme added into that week’s programming this year. If a week works better for you, we suggest you pick that regardless of theme as there will be a lot of hands on activities and learning through play throughout the week.

CAMP SOULE- Half Day Sessions, 9am to 12pm, for ages 4-6 years
This program is the perfect introduction to summer camp and fun on the farm. Each week will focus on a different theme: early mornings will feature activities, crafts and games focused on the that theme. After snack time, children will engage their creativity and imagination in many of the traditional activities and exploration at the farm, checking the garden, playing in the mud kitchen, storytelling, arts and crafts, and cooperative games. Every day on the farm is different, so each day is a new adventure, and every week unique.
Spots open in all sessions of this camp age group for now. Don’t wait if there’s a week you want.
- Session 1: July 15-19: Gardens and Growing Things: in this week of programming, our “sprouts” will focus on the garden, helping to plant and care for our summer crop. There will be garden themed games, stories and crafts to make each day complete.
- Session 2: July 29-August 2: Forests and Fairies: this week of programming will feature daily adventures into the forest. Campers will “microhike” to explore the tiny forests within the forest, play games among the trees and make crafts to please our forest fairy friends.
- Session 3: August 12-16: Animal Adventures: Learning to care for some of the farm’s residents is the focus of this week of programming. Daily animal chores and enrichment building are big parts of every day. Animal themed games, crafts and stories round out the farm day fun.
PRICING: Members: $200
Non-members: $225
CAMP SOULE- Full Day Sessions, 9am to 3pm, for ages 7-10 years
This full-day session will allow children time to do the things on the farm and in the forest they love like spending time with our animals, working in the garden, and exploring. Each week will feature a different theme. Mornings will be spent on activities that feature the week’s theme. In the afternoon, children will engage in more traditional farm camp activities like arts and crafts, homesteading activities, games and farm exploration.
- Session 1: July 8-12: On the Farm: in the session, campers will become animal caretakers for part of the day, learning to care for some of the animals that call the Soule Homestead home. Animal care projects, enrichment and even basic animal training are just some of the activities that will be featured. Animal themed games and crafts are included in this program.
- Session 2: July 22-26: Trails and Tracks: in the sessions, campers will become trail makers as we spend part of each day working on the trails, making trail maps and signs and even bushwhack paths! Other fun activities will include nature ID, forest games and nature crafts.
- Session 3: August 5-9: Growing Gardens: this week will give kids the chance to help out in all the Soule Homestead gardens. The importance of keeping the soil healthy through eco-friendly farming and working in the greenhouse will be a part of every day. Crafts, games and other garden-themed activities will round out days full of outdoor garden fun!

Frequently Asked Questions
What does “Camp Certification” mean?
Camp Soule complies with the regulations of the Massachusetts Department of Public Health (105 CMR 430) and is licensed by the Town of Middleboro’s Board of Health. We work with the Middleboro Health Department to ensure that we are meeting the Massachusetts standards to run a day-camp. For example, this ensures that all staff and volunteers that work with your children have undergone a CORI (criminal background check) and a SORI (sexual crimes check). It also means that we will comply with staffing ratios and that our site has been approved. It also requires that there is a staff member present at all times that is First Aid/CPR certified.
Can my 5 or 6-year-old attend the full day program?
At this time, we do not offer a full day program for children under the age of seven. A full day on the farm can be a long and hot one, so we are reserving this program for older children that typically have more stamina to last the full day. If you have an older sibling that would like to attend the half day program, please contact educator@soulehomestead.org for details.
Why do I have to sign up for a full week?
Camp Soule is designed to explore topics that build upon each other each day. At the end of the week your child will have created a bond with the property and the other children in camp. We understand that things come up and you might miss a day during your week at camp. Unfortunately, we will not issue refunds for days missed. If a week is too much programming, we recommend the “Itty-Bitty Buds” introduction program or please keep us in mind for April Vacation which will still have daily sign up options.
How and when do I register?
Early-bird registration for Camp Soule and Itty-Bitty Buds opens on March 1st for Soule Homestead members. Non-member registration opens on March 15th . Registration is completed online.
