Soule Summer Camp 2025

We are looking forward to another summer of fun on the farm! Online registration opens March 1st at 10am for Soule Homestead members and March 15th at 10am for non-members. Spaces are limited and fill quickly. If you have any questions about camp programs, financial assistance options, or to be added to our camp wait list, please contact at: educator@soulehomestead.org.

All final camp payments are due no later than June 1.

Each weekly program will have all the traditional Soule activities your kiddos love with the added bonus of a unified theme added into that week’s programming this year. If a week works better for you, we suggest you pick that regardless of theme as there will be a lot of hands on activities and learning through play throughout the week.

ITTY-BITTY BUDS

9am to 12pm, for ages 3.5 to 6 years

DATES: June 24-26

We will sample age-appropriate, hands-on activities including planting and harvesting in the garden, learning about farm and wild animals, exploring different habitats, and creating nature-inspired art.

SOULE SPROUTS: Half Day Sessions,

9am to 12pm, for ages 4-6 years

This program is the perfect introduction to summer camp and fun on the farm. Each week will focus on a different theme: early mornings will feature activities, crafts and games focused on the that theme. After snack time, children will engage their creativity and imagination in many of the traditional activities and exploration at the farm, checking the garden, playing in the mud kitchen, storytelling, arts and crafts, and cooperative games. Every day on the farm is different, so each day is a new adventure, and every week unique.

Spots open in all sessions of this camp age group for now. Don’t wait if there’s a week you want.

  • Session 1: July 14-18: Homes and Habitats: wild animals and plants need places to live and grow… just like humans! In this session, children will explore different habitats and learn about the plants and animals that call them home. Games and crafts that feature the habitats we explore will be a part of each day.
  • Session 2: July 28-August 1: Stories and Sprouts: In this fun-filled week, each day will feature a different book and activities that match the book. Things like seed planting, games, art projects and outdoor exploration will be a part of every day.
  • Session 3: August 11-15: Animal Adventures: This animal focused program returns for another summer. Learning to care for some of the farm’s residents is the focus of this week of programming. Daily animal chores and enrichment building are big parts of every day. Animal themed games, crafts and stories round out the farm day fun.

Camp Soule 2025 – The Details!

Frequently Asked Questions

What does “Camp Certification” mean?

Camp Soule complies with the regulations of the Massachusetts Department of Public Health (105 CMR 430) and is licensed by the Town of Middleboro’s Board of Health. We work with the Middleboro Health Department to ensure that we are meeting the Massachusetts standards to run a day-camp. For example, this ensures that all staff and volunteers that work with your children have undergone a CORI (criminal background check) and a SORI (sexual crimes check). It also means that we will comply with staffing ratios and that our site has been approved. It also requires that there is a staff member present at all times that is First Aid/CPR certified.

Can my 5 or 6-year-old attend the full day program?

At this time, we do not offer a full day program for children under the age of seven. A full day on the farm can be a long and hot one, so we are reserving this program for older children that typically have more stamina to last the full day. If you have an older sibling that would like to attend the half day program, please contact educator@soulehomestead.org for details.

Why do I have to sign up for a full week?

Camp Soule is designed to explore topics that build upon each other each day. At the end of the week your child will have created a bond with the property and the other children in camp. We understand that things come up and you might miss a day during your week at camp. Unfortunately, we will not issue refunds for days missed. If a week is too much programming, we recommend the “Itty-Bitty Buds” introduction program or please keep us in mind for April Vacation which will still have daily sign up options.

When is the balance due?

Balances for all programs will be due June 1. Cancellations made before this time will be issued a full refund (less a $25 processing fee). Cancellations made by June 15 will be eligible for a 50% refund (less a $25 processing fee). No refunds will be issued after June 15.

How and when do I register?

Early-bird registration for Camp Soule and Itty-Bitty Buds opens on March 1st for Soule Homestead members. Non-member registration opens on March 15th . Registration is completed online.
