Happy birthday to you: Have a Homestead party with your crew!
Looking for a fun party place for your future farmer? Don’t squeeze all of your friends and family into your house when you can have an entire farm to enjoy on your child’s birthday! Come celebrate at Soule Homestead.
We have two current renters who work out of our commercial kitchen at Soule who would be happy to prepare food, baked goods, and or more for your party! Visit our Soule Kitchen tab for more info about what Wilde Flour could provide for your events.

Our birthdays are customizable – so choose as many – or as few activities as you want!
Our basic party fee includes use of the outdoor pavilion for 2 hours, access to the farm (including the mud kitchen!) to enjoy at your own pace. Bring any activities you want, bring your own food, or have it delivered (we have a local pizza rec). Enjoy a relaxing party at the farm.
* PLEASE NOTE: there are no refrigeration or kitchen facilities available for use at the farm.
Party slots are 10:30-12:30 and 1:30-3:30

PARTY ADD-ONS – PICK WHAT’S RIGHT FOR YOUR PARTY!

HAYSTACK: $30
Think deconstructed pinata. Children will have fun searching through a large pile of hay for party favor prizes (due to the nature of this activity, it will be held in the barn) – although there is no time limit, this activity usually takes 20-30 minutes (includes employee to facilitate). Guests provide their their own prizes and bags for this activity. We typically recommend 3 – 5 prizes per child. Children under 4 we recommend bagging up their prizes to find the bag.
PIN THE TAIL ON THE SHEEP: $30 (+$20 refundable deposit)
Kids will love this SHEC version of the classic “Pin the Tail…” game – “tails” and a blindfold included. This game typically takes between 15 – 20 minutes but depends on the number of children playing. (Includes employee to facilitate)
GUIDED TOURS AND ENCOUNTERS ON THE FARM ADD-ONS

MEET THE ANIMALS TOUR (up to 30): $30 (up to 30 minutes long)
Enjoy a guided walk to visit our farm residents and learn a bit about the farm animals that call
Soule Homestead home.

ANIMAL ENCOUNTER (up to 15 children): $30 (up to 30 minutes long)
A farm staff member will bring an animal to the group for kids to learn about, touch, and handle.
Animal presented dependent upon availability.
This add-on is NOT suitable for children younger than 3 years old.

NATURE WALK (up to 30): $45 (up to 45 minutes long)
Party goers will enjoy a leisurely walk along our “lollipop” nature trail with a farm naturalist where
they can learn a bit about what wild plants and animals are found on the farm. PLEASE NOTE:
this is a trail walk and is not suitable for individuals with mobility issues!
HANDS-ON ACTIVITY ADD-ONS
Simple farm craft: $4/child
Staff will bring out a simple farm craft to do with children. Craft will vary based on the supplies
available and age of the children (includes employee to facilitate)

Party FAQs:
What does a typical party look like?
- This can depend on what you have booked for your party. Typically, with booked program we think of the first 30-45 minutes (sometimes more) as part of our programming and the last hour is for you to do lunch and cake with your guests.
- Sample party timeline:
- Arrival & Set up at 10:10am.
- Party starts at 10:35. Our staff welcomes guests and goes over some basic safety rules.
- Depending on booked programing our leading of the party concludes between 11am – 11:30am.
- Enjoy your refreshments, lunch, cake – whatever yummy things you brought until your rental time finishes at 12:30pm.
- What time does my party start?
- Parties START at the time listed on the rental. That means we will start programming at that time. We strongly encourage you to remind your guests to show up on time.
When can I arrive to set up?
- Party rentals are allowed to show up 20 minutes before your rental start time to set up your party.
When does my party end?
- Parties END at the time listed on the rental. We often have other parties or responsibilities to attend to as soon as your party rental time is completed and cannot accommodate more time for your party as much as we would like to. We charge a fee of $25 per 15 minutes over your allotted rental time.
Can I use your commercial kitchen?
- Unfortunately only our commercial kitchen lessees may access our kitchen. There are no refrigeration or kitchen facilities available for use at Soule.
What should we bring?
You’re encouraged to bring outdoor games (corn hole, bubbles, lawn yatzy, lawn connect for, etc) for your guests to enjoy.
What spaces can we use?
- Rentals are for the pavilion or inside the classroom and each has their own associated fee.
- Pavilion Rentals April – November are held outside regardless of the weather. We love splashing in puddles so encourage guests to dress accordingly. We cannot always accommodate switching to inside due to scheduled space rentals and workshops. In cases of inclement weather we will contact you to reschedule.
- Indoor classroom rentals are held December-March.
- Guests are allowed to use the mud kitchen and hike trails on their own if they’d like to.
- Guests may not enter any animal enclosures, classrooms, or farm leased spaces.
Can we rent a bounce house?
- Unfortunately due to liability concerns we cannot have bounce houses at Soule at this time.
What types of things are we NOT allowed to bring?
- We do not allow alcohol of any kind to be served at Soule. It requires a special license and vendor. If this is something you are interested in we will connect you with our preferred vendor.
- We do not allow glass of any kind at Soule. We want to keep our visitors and our animals safe.
- We do not allow balloons, confetti, or piñatas at Soule for use in decorations or as party favors in order to keep our grounds clean and animals safe.
- We allow for one large bag of trash to be thrown away at Soule. Any more must be taken home with you, please.
What’s your cancellation policy?
- You may cancel your program minus a $50 deposit provided you call us within regular business hours of Monday – Thursday, 7:30 AM – 3:30 PM with at least a 7 days notice. No refunds will be issued for cancellations less than seven days from the scheduled date. Rescheduling may be possible, but is based on availability. Programs run even in inclement weather, we ask you to dress accordingly. Soule Homestead reserves the right to cancel any programming due to severe weather conditions and/or public health and safety concerns.
