At Soule homestead, we support our local food network by offering space for rent in our licensed commercial kitchen. It’s a great resource for local farmers or artisan chefs who want to start or expand their business. Amenities include a commercial sized oven and range, and access to cooler/freezer space. As a licensed commercial kitchen, we must have a full health permit, insurance, and food safety certificates on file for anyone who rents in our kitchen. We cannot support one-time events or occasional hobbyists.
Our kitchen has:
- 10 burner gas stove
- Full hood system
- 2 ovens – 4 racks possible, total
- Designated Refrigerator space per renter
- 6ft stainless steel prep table, plus small end cap stainless table
- Each renter gets some small storage space
- Each renter works with the farm to sign up and manage their allotted time in the kitchen each week.
